Planet Rock
The weekly Galactic Monday residency continues, with New Planets (a new band featuring Angelo Peters, Cooper Casterline, Alicia Aubin, Emmett Scott, Yao Foli “Cha Cha” Augustine and Archer Cowen) set to make their debut. They’ll be followed by the host band Galactic Escort Service for the usual set of sonic improvisations.

Ways to be Wicked
Wicked Children – featuring locals Jeff Claus, Judy Hyman, Randi Beckmann, and Sally Freund joined by Gus and Huck Tritsch of Milheim, Pa. – will play fiddle tunes in Ithaca’s West End. The Tritsch brothers just placed first and second in the youth fiddle contest at Clifftop Appalachian Festival in West Virginia.

Four on the Floor
Party of Four will return to the Range for Swing Night. The band – Dave Davies, Cookie Cogan, Doug Robinson, and Wayne Gottlieb, plus Mike Wellen on drums – focuses on four-part jazz harmonies on a mix of standards and originals.

Two to Tribute
The annual Trumansburg Fair continues this week, and night the Grandstand will host a big double header of two classic-rock tribute bands: at 7 p.m., The Prezence will unleash its Led Zeppelin show, followed at 9:30 p.m. by the Floyd Concept, which will bring its Pink Floyd tribute to the stage – complete with circular projection screen, laser show and sax player.
