Okkervil River

Okkervil River returns to Ithaca for the first time in six years, and the outdoor summer concert season is now in full bloom.

‘Rarities & Requests’

In its first show in Ithaca since 2013, Okkervil River returns with its “Rarities & Requests” tour. Frontman Will Sheff will be joined by a couple of bandmates in a stripped-down format in which “they’ll be playing stretched-out and often highly spontaneous requests-only shows in intimate listening-room venues.” Lip Talk will open the show.

His debut album “If You Grew Up Like I Did” produced the hit “Fat Kid.” Local band Chasing Neon – Nicholas Stark, Scott Marlette, Tyler Marlette, Alec Young, and Ryan Newton – will kick off the show.
