A Tribute to George Harrison, Ghazal, Swimming Pool Q's

The Inner Light

This is a version of George Harrison's "Inner Light" performed by long-time friend Jeff Lynne and Ravi Shankar's daughter, Anoushka Shankar, as performed live at a Harrison tribute concert.

Out of Nothing

This is the first new recording from the Swimming Pool Q's in 14 years -- a collection of 20 psychedelic/progressive rock tunes.

Time of the Preacher

Carla Bozulich re-imagines Willie Nelson's Red Headed Stranger as a concept album -- cinematic and subtle.

Fallen Angel

Though critically acclaimed, Manchester's art pop group, Elbow were quickly dumped by two major labels -- Island and EMI -- before joining with independent Uglyman Records to release Asleep in the Back, the album that put them on the map. This is their follow-up, released in the US on V2 Records.

Dawn

Ghazal is the Indian/Persian duo of Shujaat Husain Khan and Kayhan Kalhor. This is an excerpt from a live performance of improvisations based on classical themes.
