NPR's Fred Child is hosting Performance Today from Salzburg, Austria, to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the birth of Mozart.
From Schloss Leopoldskron in Salzburg, the Juilliard Quartet performs the "Andante Cantabile" from Mozart's first Haydn Quartet, No. 14 in G, K. 387. They follow with the Allegro finale of one of the "Prussian Quartets," the Quartet no. 23 in F, K. 590.
In NPR's Studio 4A, pianist Shai Wosner plays Mozart's Piano Sonata in F, K. 533.
