Tiger Army will make its Ithaca debut. The California psychobilly trio is fronted by Nick 13 on guitar with Djordje Stijepovic on upright bass and Mike Fasano on drums, and recently released its sixth album, “Retrofuture.” Kate Clover and SadGirl will open the show

Sharp Dressed Men
For one night only, Cinemapolis will present “ZZ Top: That Little Ol' Band from Texas.” Directed by Sam Dunn, the film documents the story of “how three oddball teenage bluesmen became one of the biggest, most beloved bands on the planet.” Founding members Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard are interviewed, along with several of their musical peers. Three of a Kind
Jazz trio Argos Grove – Ithaca College faculty members Nicholas Walker (bass), Greg Evans (drums), and Andrew Carroll (piano) – continue the celebrated Wednesday happy hour community music tradition initiated by i3° at Bar Argos. The trio’s repertoire ranges from Duke Ellington and Stevie Wonder to the Beatles, Disney, swing, funk and bossa nova.

Ready to Ripen
Ripe is a Boston-based septet known for fusing rock, funk, R&B, jazz, and pop influences into a danceable whole, one that’s showcased on the album, “Joy in the Wild Unknown,” which was produced by Vulpeck’s Corey Wong.
