It’s Happy Hour Again
Kick off the weekend with some live music at various venues around Ithaca: Vinegar Williams plays South Hill Cider at 5:30-8 p.m.; Encore returns to Hopshire Farm and Brewery at 6-8 p.m.; the Purple Valley swings into Sacred Root Kava Bar and Tea Lounge at 6-8 p.m.; and Lloyd’s Boys return to the Westy at 7-9 p.m.

All Around The World
Microtones kicks off the new year with an international lineup featuring Japanese techno DJ Haruka and Berlin’s Kamal Naeem (who grew up Ithaca and runs the influential Blank Slate label) along with resident electronic artist Otodojo.

Rachel’s Back
Cortland-bred, Ithaca-based singer-songwriter Rachel Beverly returns to showcase her stellar mix of strong originals and cool cover tunes, many done with looped vocals or guitar parts.

It’s A Party
The 13th annual Ithaca Musicians Office Party returns, a bit later than usual but still timely nonetheless. A variety of local singer-songwriters will come together to raise money for other local musicians in need. The lineup includes: Mary Lorson, Sam and Mandy, Pierce Walsh, Johnny Dowd, Jennie Lowe, Janet Batch, The Long Now, Beverly Stokes, Strong Maybe, Venissa Santi and Wingnut. Lorson and Mickie Quinn will host the show.
