'A Night of Chaos'

Stonecutters, from Louisville, Kentucky, will bring their “The Devil Rides Alone” tour to Ithaca. Locals Food Pill, Hearse and Isosceles round out the bill. “Prepare for a night of chaos,” advise the organizers.

Hanna PK will come to Ithaca Wednesday night.


Swing into May with this one-time only collaboration among five musicians from Rochester and Ithaca, including singer-pianist Hanna PK, Aleks Disljenkovic (guitar), Ken Zeserson (sax), Michael Wallen (drums), Gian C. Cervone (organ). “Come dance to, or just sit back and enjoy Swing, Blues, Boogie and a little bit of Rock'n'Roll.”

Senior Night

Hank Roberts returns for a solo show of cello and voice. After living in New York City for the past couple of years, Roberts recently moved back to Ithaca, so hopefully we’ll see him play more around here when he’s not touring the country with Bill Frisell or other jazz greats.

Getting on the Good Foot

DJ Gourd will celebrate James Brown’s birthday with a big show featuring live tunes from the B.J.s (a new band featuring some familiar Ithacans) and two sets of vintage vinyl.

Taking Up Residence

Gunpoets will host the second of their new monthly residency titled “The Hip Hop Lounge: A sonic exploration of beats and rhymes.” The night will feature “Hip hop beats. Rhymes of all kinds. Super chill vibes.” The event takes place on the first Thursday of every month.
