Saturday night, APM's Live From Here, starring Chris Thile, airs on WITH at 6PM. This variety show features a unique blend of musical performances, comedy and audience interaction. Acclaimed musician and songwriter Chris Thile welcomes a wide range of well-known and up-and-coming talent to share the stage and create a beautiful listening experience. Thile is a MacArthur Genius Grant winner and Mandolin master. He got his start at age 8 when he launched Nickel Creek with Sara and Sean Watkins. Currently, he is in the Punch Brothers, who have performed in Ithaca and at other venues in the region.
The WITH schedule is changing in part due to the program "Radio Unleashed" going out of production in April, leaving a whole in the schedule. American Routes, hosted by Nick Spitzer, takes over the 6PM to 8PM slot on Sunday evenings. In the near future, Live From Here will also air on our sister station, WEOS in Geneva.
